SPD to Display at Technology 2009

Huntsville, AL On November 1, businesses, organizations, and agencies involved with technology will gather in Miami at the Technology 2009 conference to attend seminars and lectures, and exchange information on innovative ways to advance technology research and develop and improve products. This year, there will be a new option for them to consider, one that can help them advance research and development efforts and bring about down-to-Earth products for their customers: the Space Product Development Program.

Representatives from SPD and BioServe Space Technologies will be on hand at the SPD display to provide general information, and answer questions from the public, and discuss the benefits of the program with prospective Industry Partners. The display will feature a Ford engine block and a PentaPure water filter system, both of which were improved through commercial space and microgravity research. The work for Ford was done through the Solidification Design Center, while the PentaPure research was done through BioServe.
